What companions cost in Australia, city by city
Independent rates by city and by kind of booking, what moves the price up or down, what the rate does and does not include, and why "cheap" is the most expensive option.

Rates for independent companions in Australia are published, which is unusual for a service and useful for a client: you can see what people charge before you ever send a message. What the numbers do not tell you is why they vary so much, from the low hundreds to several thousand dollars for the same length of booking in the same city. This guide explains the ranges, what moves a rate, and what you are paying for.
Every figure here is a range drawn from published profiles in October 2026, rounded. Individual rates are set by each companion and are on their profile; the live listings embedded below show what people are charging today.
The headline ranges
Independent companions in Australia's capitals mostly price an hour somewhere between a few hundred dollars and the low thousands. The spread looks like this:

Longer bookings are cheaper per hour. A two-hour booking is usually well under double the hourly rate; a dinner date (three to five hours) is often priced around two to three times the hourly rate; an overnight (twelve hours or so) commonly sits at four to six times the hourly rate. Multi-day and travel bookings are quoted individually.
City by city
The cities differ less than clients expect. What differs is the depth of the market: a bigger city has more companions at every price, so you can find exactly the style and rate you want; a smaller city has fewer people and the range is narrower.
- Sydney has the largest and most varied market. The full range exists, with a strong tier of established independents in the $400 to $800 band and a visible high end above that. Outcalls to CBD hotels are the norm; incalls cluster in the inner suburbs. Companions in Sydney.
- Melbourne is similar in range to Sydney, with a reputation for a strong GFE and dinner-date culture. Decriminalisation is complete, so premises and advertising are open. Companions in Melbourne.
- Brisbane and the Gold Coast have grown since Queensland decriminalised in 2024. Rates sit slightly below Sydney at the top end and match it in the middle; the Gold Coast has a strong touring and tourist-driven market. Brisbane · Gold Coast.
- Perth is a distinct market: geographically isolated, with fewer touring companions and rates that are often a little higher in the middle band for that reason. Note that WA's law has not been reformed. Companions in Perth.

- Canberra is small, discreet and priced like the larger cities, with a high share of professional clients and a corresponding emphasis on dinner and extended bookings. Companions in Canberra.
- Regional cities (Newcastle, Wollongong, Geelong, Cairns, Darwin, Hobart and others) are served largely by touring companions, who announce dates in advance. Rates match their home city.

What moves a rate
Five things explain most of the difference between two companions in the same city:
- Experience and reputation. Verified reviews, years in the work and a full booking diary all push rates up, because demand does.
- The kind of booking. GFE, dinner dates and overnights are priced as premium, unhurried bookings. Shorter, more straightforward bookings are priced accordingly.
- Incall or outcall. Outcalls cost more, because of travel time and risk. Expect a travel fee outside the inner city.
- Notice and hours. Same-day bookings, very late nights and public holidays often carry a surcharge, where they are available at all.
- Scarcity by choice. Some companions deliberately see few clients and price to match. This is not a sign of anything other than how they choose to work.
What does not move the rate: your charm, your negotiating skill, or how many times you ask.
What the rate includes
The rate is for her time and company for the stated length, within what her profile says she offers. It includes her preparation, her travel to an outcall (plus any stated travel fee), and the screening and admin that happen before you meet. It does not include:
- The deposit, which is part of the rate, paid in advance, and non-refundable if you do not turn up.
- Extensions, charged at her stated rate if you ask and she has time.
- Anything not on the profile. Services she does not list are not available at any price, and asking is poor form.
- Tips, which are welcome and never expected.
- The hotel, for an outcall, which you book in your own name.
Why "cheap" costs more
The lowest rates in any city carry the most risk. Fake profiles with stolen photos almost always undercut the market to attract quick deposits; establishments priced far below independents often add charges on arrival; and a companion who prices far below her peers is usually either very new or working in conditions she would rather not be in.
A reviewed profile, a visible verification badge, verified reviews and a rate in line with the market are what a real, professional, safe booking looks like. Paying
